Daddy's Girl Dairy is celebrating 6 years of creating what has been described as the creamiest fresh goat-milk cheese anywhere. Her European customers repeated tell her and their friends that her cheese is most like cheese from their homeland. What an beautiful and heartfelt compliment...I personally thank all who have been so kind and appreciative of the work and sacrifice commanded to make outstanding, quality cheese without commercial feeds, without GMO corn and soy, without added growth hormones. As the EATWILD website states, those farmers who choose to grass feed are choosing quality over quantity. Remember, at this time, you can only purchase TRUE Daddy's Girl Dairy cheese from Daddy's Girl. Please check the calendar page to see where to find the farmer's market nearest you.
As the first and only known North Carolina dairy creating GMO-free goat-milk cheese and selling GMO-free goat meat (called chevon), Daddy's Girl Dairy invites you to join in the celebration with her, her friends and supporters, and
with local craftsmen creating music, art, food and fun. In 2010, the farm will be open to the public for the first time as the site of this celebration....and a fishing contest....and goat watching, of course. General admission is $25.00 per adult age 18 and over, and $15.00 for ages 6 to 18. Each child under 6 who is accompanied by one paying adult is admitted free.
Daddy's Girl Dairy and others will be selling tickets throughout the year. Purchase your tickets soon to ensure your entry into this limited access event.
